Good Day All; The other note is about a CATCH (Community Area Trust for Community Housing) project on Village Street next to the cemetery. While I am unable to vote on any issues regarding this project that comes before the city council because my wife is on the Penacook Community Center’s Board, I can pass on information to you that is in the public domain. Here is a link to the Concord Monitor’s April 2nd article on this project: https://www.concordmonitor.com/Penacook-Community-Center-sells-space-to-CATCH-Housing-24566229 In addition to the two reports that I have included, CATCH has also asked the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) to grant them a variance. They are a couple of feet short of the requirement for the amount of frontage on Village Street that is required under our zoning ordinances for the proposed project. This is the link to the April 3rd ZBA meeting. You can click on Item 12-19 for additional information: http://www.concordnh.gov/ArchiveCenter/ViewFile/Item/4524 Report-165 is Item #16 from the city council’s April 8th, agenda and will amend the zoning from an RM to CG District. Report-167 is Item # 23 and authorizes the City Manager to enter into an Option to Purchase with CATCH - Allan ![]()
