Market Days is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year to fulfill its commitment to the downtown community. We've teamed up with our good neighbors at Warner Public Market to provide you safe CURBSIDE DELIVERY. They have the most wonderful groceries from our local farmers, using the upmost precautions. And you know we have, well, everything else! Our hours for these two Main Street businesses are now the same.
Weekends 10-4. Wednesday Thursday Friday 1-7 Call or email us ahead and we’ll meet you in the parking lot. Stay Home ~ Stay Safe ~ Save Lives Contoocook Creamery, known for its fresh, 100% NH milk bottled in iconic glass bottles, is scrambling to change their packaging to include milk in plastic jugs. Although the farm would prefer to rely completely on reusable glass bottles, the change is being driven by market forces as their largest retail partner is no longer able to handle bottle returns, particularly given the Covid 19 challenges they are facing.
Dear Friends,
We are so excited to share that The Boscawen Congregational Church " Hilda's" Food Pantry has been selected to be a part of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, which is designed to make it easy for customers to contribute to their local community while supporting the environment. For the month of April, each time a $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag is purchased at the Hannaford located at Fort Eddy Rd. Concord, $1 will be donated to the Boscawen Congregational Church Food Pantry. This is a great way to raise awareness, support the environment and fundraise for our cause. Let’s get started! We can begin by spreading the news to our friends and family. Call, send emails, and post on social media. The more people who learn about the program and purchase the Fight Hunger Bag during the month of April, the more money we will raise. To learn more about this program, please visit hannaford.bags4mycause.com. Best Wishes and stay safe, Linda Patton Mgr.of food pantry CONCORD— At NHTI-Concord’s Community College (NHTI) approximately one in five students take an online class. When it became apparent that all of our learning would have to move completely online due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) faculty, support staff and administration became laser focused on how to move the rest of our students online. With less than two weeks’ notice, lots of communication, a steep learning curve for some, and a desire to see our students continue to succeed, NHTI has risen to the challenge and provided continued support academically for our students online.
