Monday evening (02.08.2021), the MV School Board voted to retain the 2021 MVSD Annual Meeting date - Friday, March 5, 2021.
Official Ballot voting (moderator and school board positions) will take place on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Merrimack Valley High School, beginning at 11am with the polls closing at 7pm. For those who cannot vote in-person, the MVSD website (www.mvsdpride.org) has detailed information about absentee voting and how to obtain an application for an absentee ballot. Following the Official Ballot voting, at 7pm (on Friday, March 5, 2021) the Annual Meeting will commence and the gathered legislative body (the voters) will have the opportunity to act on the proposed warrant. BY THE CAPITAL REGION FOOD PROGRAM CONCORD, NH — The Capital Region Food Program (CRFP) distributed over 1.65 tons, or 186 cases, of nonperishable food items to 10 area social service agencies, food pantries and churches as part of the program’s Year-Round Distribution Project (YRDP) on Tuesday, February 9. Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack) is pleased to donate a total of $1000 to the Friendly Kitchen in Concord, Hooksett Community Food Pantry, Hopkinton Food Pantry, the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter and the Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry in Franklin as a result of their annual Mitten Tree Program. Thanks to the kind support of the community, 388 winter weather accessories, including hats, mittens and scarves, were collected and distributed to local families in need.
