What happens when a small micro-brewery is introduced to a local museum by an area artist?
Brainstorm an idea for a new fall beer, of course!
While this style beer was crafted well before the invention of the harmonic telegraph [that’s the telephone, for all you nebbie history nerds], we have no doubt that a lot of ale was consumed during the many years the phone was being perfected.
• There are more than 90 breweries in New Hampshire.
• There are over 150 museums in the state, but only one telephone museum.
• You can use beer to shine up old copper, like copper telephone wires, although we prefer to drink it.
• There are 4.88 billion mobile users in the world.
• In the 1600s, midwives created super-strong beer to ease the pain of labor, we recommend a few beers after a long day at the office! Party Line Porter is 5.4% ABV. So join us on Wednesday, October 20th.
About New Hampshire Telephone Museum:
From its humble beginnings, the telephone has shaped the modern world in too many ways to count.
At the New Hampshire Telephone Museum, you can see the evolution of the world's greatest invention, experience life as a switchboard operator and learn how a teacher of the deaf, an undertaker and a Hollywood starlet changed the course of history.
Since the museum first opened in 2005, we have become a “must see” destination in New Hampshire.
About Polyculture Brewing Company:
Polyculture Brewing Company is a small, family-owned and solar-powered brewery in Croydon, New Hampshire. Operating out of a barn attached to the nearly 150-year-old family farmhouse, this micro-brewery creates imaginative beers featuring local ingredients.
Polyculture uses a mix of microbes, rather than just one yeast, to make beers that are uniquely their own. They also draw on a variety of beer traditions and cultures when crafting their recipes, learning from those who were making great beer for centuries.
About Reed’s North:
Reed's North - An American Tavern. Offering a creative spin on New England comfort food in the historic village of Warner. Libations are plenty with a full bar and 8 draught beer taps
