YES, SCOUTING IS ALIVE AND WELL IN PENACOOK

Penacook Troop 83 started in the 60’s and with only a couple breaks has 25 years of continuous Scouting! The Scout Troops meet at the United Church of Penacook on Tuesdays from 7PM to 8:30PM in the hall beneath the Church. The Cub Scout Pack 83 meets at the same place and times. We are excited to announce that both boys and girls will meet in separate Cub Dens for grades 1 through 5.  Scout Troop 83B is for boys aged 11 through 17, and Troop 83G is chartered for girls of the same age.
Both Troops and Packs are enrolling new members and volunteer leaders to keep these great youth programs available to all boys and girls in Greater Penacook, including Webster, Boscawen and neighboring towns. Scouting develops character and leadership skills in today’s youth. Anyone interested in joining or volunteering for either a troop or pack is welcome to attend any Tuesday at the church and meet with the Scout leadership. They will be available to answer any questions and assist with enrollment.
