Volunteer subjects needed for students’ clinical exams CONCORD — NHTI’s dental hygiene students still need your help! The students are required to take a clinical board exam to obtain licensure, and are in desperate need of volunteer patients for this exam. The dental hygiene students will hold another open clinic on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 5-8pm, for screenings to determine if volunteers meet the criteria to qualify as board patients. All screenings and any necessary x-rays will be free of charge, and x-rays will be forwarded to the patient’s dentist on request. Free toothbrushes and toothpaste will be given to all volunteers. You may call the dental clinic to register for this screening at (603) 230-4023. The students will take their clinical boards on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Patients must be available to sit for the exam either from 7am - 12pm, or from 12-5pm. Both the screening clinic and the board exams will be held at the Dental Hygiene Clinic in MacRury Hall on NHTI’s Concord campus.
