RE-CYCLE, UP-CYCLE, SHOW US YOUR ART!! Let's create some yard art!!

That is the theme of this years Old Home Day!    Take a look around your garage, your basement, your attic and see what you can find.  Make a trip to the Treasure House at the dump for extra stock.  You can even try Goodwill or the Salvation Army!   Let your creative juices flow.  Those that joined us a few years ago with our Cows On King Street project did an amazing job and had a lot of fun too.  That project was so popular, even people as far away as Florida heard about it!!  Let's see if we can do it again.
 
Here's how this will work;  Your art will be displayed in your own yard (yeah!!) and it must be visible from the street.  Once you have completed your
art work, or if you have questions, email us at BoscawenOldHomeDay@gmail.com.  Your email will need to include your name, address, the title of your art work along with a photo.  If you don't have email access, you can mail the same information to the town office, attn BOHD.  The deadline for submitting your artwork is July 31st.  Once we gather all of the information, we will create a map that will be available at the town office and some local businesses (to be announced later).  This will allow everyone the opportunity to travel around town to check out the competition!
 
There are no limits to the number of creations you can submit.  The only stipulation is that it must be displayed in Boscawen.  You can do this as an individual, a family, a group, a neighborhood, a business or anything else you can come up with. 
 
Now here is the REALLY good news!  Prizes will be awarded for the best yard art.  First Place will be awarded $100, Second Place will be awarded $75, and Third Place will be awarded $50!  And you get bragging rights!  Not too sure yet how we will do the voting but we will let you know in the next edition of the Newsvine and of course the MV Voice.
