Concord and Penacook residents should bring their household hazardous waste to the City of Concord’s Household Hazardous Waste Day for safe disposal. The event occurs once a year, so be sure subscribe to Notify Me to be notified of future collection dates. Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day When: September 19, 2020 Where: Douglas N. Everett Arena (15 Loudon Road) Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Concord residents can bring up to 10 gallons or 20 pounds of household hazardous waste. Proof of Concord or Penacook residency is required (driver's license, utility bill, etc.). Safely transport household hazardous waste in your car by leaving materials in their original containers, tightening lids, and packing items in sturdy boxes to avoid spills. Never mix chemicals or smoke while handling hazardous waste.
