Be a part of building the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail this Saturday October 19. We will be cutting brush. Your volunteer time helps in two ways. First you help the trail get a necessary job done. Second, every hour you give helps us with our match requirement on a Recreational Trails Program grant we have from the NH Bureau of Trails. This has a huge impact. And we all have fun. Plus, we'll be buying pizza for the crew for lunch. When: We will be ready for you at 9:00 AM. Come when you can. Remember to sign in when you arrive so we can count your time.
Where: In the field behind 33 Fisherville Rd., Concord, NH. (Between LAD Welding and Aranosian Oil Company) What: Brush cutting. Bring gloves and the tool(s) of your choice: loppers, small chain saw, pole saw. We will be working east to west. So if you arrive and don't see folks, just walk down the trail and you will find us. In August we held a groundbreaking and cleared brush and old fencing on the eastern end of the project. In September we chipped all the brush on the farm property and cleared brush on the second parcel. With your help this trail project will be open for winter use this year. Can't make it to the trail on Saturday? You can still help! Please introduce the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail to as many people as you can. A personal recommendation from you to a friend means a lot. Thank you. Comments are closed.
