Don’t know who you should vote for on Nov. 4? Mark your calendars now: On Tuesday, Oct. 21, starting at 7 p.m., the Merrimack Valley Voice and Concord NH Patch will be hosting a multi-candidate forum at the Penacook Community Center, 76 Community Drive in Penacook.
The forum will feature opening and closing statements from candidates, questions by the moderators, and from the public at-large. Candidates running for the Ward 1 seat – state Rep. Steve Shutleff and Ben Tasker – as well as the Ward 2 seat – state Rep. Paul Henle and Kevin Moore - will start the evening off at 7 p.m. At around 7:35 p.m., the candidates for the District 10 floterial seat – state Rep. Mary Gile, state Rep. Chip Rice, and Jim McConaha – will participate. At around 8:10 p.m. the two candidates for state Senate, Lydia Harman Dube and Dan Feltes, will go head-to-head. Then, at around 8:35 p.m., the two candidates for Merrimack County Commissioner, Ken Georgevits and Tara Reardon, will round out the night. Most of the candidates have RSVP’d, confirming they will be in attendance. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the event is free.
