What's two miles long and can be ready Just in time for the long Labor Day Weekend? In 2017, The Friends of the Concord Lake Sunapee Rail Trail started the project near Exit 7 of I-89 to connect the existing Stevens Rail Trail coming up from Contoocook to a future rail trail that will lead into Warner. A big part of this effort was building a connector around Knoxland Equipment and Nicom Coatings over to Old Warner Road. This project has had a total cost of $118,000 and we are in the LAST FEW FEET of making this section of trail open and available for the community. We raised the first $100,000 and that has been all paid out. We are now raising the final $18,000. We've gotten lots of people involved, including 100% of our board of directors ($4600). We've posted our offline donations to this campaign so we can celebrate those people and companies that are helping make this LAST FEW FEET possible.
Want to join me in making this last few feet happen? I'm Darryl Parker and I am a founding board member of the Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail and we are raising money to build trail. Any donation to our GoFundMe Campaign will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our community . Any contribution over and above this ask will be applied to the upcoming projects on the trail. Comments are closed.
